For professional reasons, I am letting my Ille-et-Vilaine country house while I am away, from mid-August to early January. There is scope to continue the let for a few extra months. APL housing benefit is not available. This Ille-et-Vilaine country house also offers an exceptional setting in which to recharge.
From the first floor, where all the living happens, you look out over the garden, the fields and the sky!
It faces due south. With light coming through from both sides, the house feels warm and welcoming. All the more so as the living room (with fireplace) and the 2 bedrooms have wooden floors. So does the dressing room.
Fitted with electric and manual blinds, it stays cool during a heatwave.
The bathroom has just been renovated, as has the rest of the property.
On the ground floor: a DIY workshop with shoes and jackets on a rail, and a cool room for jams and storage.
Also the kitchen / sewing room used by my housemate.
She uses the bathroom on the first floor at mutually convenient times.
She can look after the heating system if needed. Choosing an Ille-et-Vilaine country house means enjoying a fine balance between comfort and authenticity.
The house and its surroundings are a real paradise. What is more, this home appeals to anyone in search of peace and nature.
